Kindle / Echo device / Fire Tv Stick Out of Warranty Service Program
Amazon has enabled service options for Out of Warranty Kindle e-readers and Fire TV sticks and Echo devices through its Authorized Service Provider, CTDI in India.
Customers can register a Service Request and schedule a pickup of their out of warranty device at a convenient date and time (excluding Sundays & Government holidays).
To avail this Onsite (mail-in) service, the customer needs to register the issue by providing certain information about the customer and the device that needs to be serviced.
On successful registration a Service Order # will be generated & sent to the customer’s registered ID for future reference. A courier pickup request will be enabled for the device pickup on the requested date.
For Kindle device, customer need to ensure device data is backed up before sending device for service. Click here to know more about your device data backup.
For Fire TV device, customer need to ensure that the remote is sent along with the device. The device will be sent back to the customer after the service is complete.
Customers can also opt to walk in to the nearest service center with their out of warranty devices. Please for the list of walk in service centers.
